FOREIGN STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN A WORKSHOP TO LEARNT HOW TO MAKE MARTENITSI

The team of the Student Council at Varna Free University taught a master class for making martenitsi by the foreign students who are studying at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The event is part of initiatives to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between students. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Marinov, the participants were introduced to the rich symbolism and legends associated with the martenitsa - a symbol of unity and spring, in Bulgarian culture.
The students Ivanina Dimitrova, Asya Yankova and Delyana Penkova shared their skill and experience in making different types of martenitsi with the other participants. The creativity of the girls inspired all the participants.
The event not only strengthened the bonds between students from different cultures, but also encouraged diversity and creativity in the educational environment..
