FASHION DESIGN STUDENTS OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" SHOWED THEIR COLLECTIONS AT THE FASHION AND BEAUTY FESTIVAL

Students doing bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and the master's degree in Design Practices in the Fashion Industry participated with mini fashion shows in the programme of the Fashion and Beauty Festival, which took place yesterday at the Sea Casino in Varna. They presented creative projects related to the sustainability of the fashion industry and fashion trends, provoking both the audience and their own thinking.Evelina Doichinova - a student in the master's degree programme in Design Practices in the Fashion Industry presented her original handmade bags.
The graduating student Plamena Viyareal, who only a month ago represented Bulgaria at the VIE Fashion Week in Dubai, showed designs from her latest collection of comfortable, soft and elegant beachwear.
Milena Karalasheva - a graduating student of Fashion Design presented part of her diploma collection "I'm moving!". The designs are ensembles of sporty and elegant clothes.The audience also enjoyed the developments on the theme of "New Life" with sustainable techniques used: redesign, textile recycling and residual design to create clothing and overall fashion visions.
The student designs follow the latest trends for innovation in fashion, thanks to the current curricula of bachelor's and master's degree programmes, current syllabuses and tasks that solve specific problems of industry and current fashion, as well as to the competent lecturers at the Department of Arts at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
In the year in which Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" celebrates 30 years since its establishment, the Fashion Design specialty turns 27. During this time, 500 creative professionals have majored in the specialty.
