ECLECTIKA CLUB AT THE STUDENT COUNCIL RAISED 1,102 BGN. WITH THEIR FIRST CHARITY CAMPAIGN AND DONATED THE MONEY TO THE CHILDREN'S HOME IN VINITSA DISTRICT

Eclectika Club at the Student Council at Varna Free University raised BGN 1,102 with their first charity initiative "Baba Marta with a Cause". The money from the bazaar were donated on March 1, 2024, to the Home for Medico-Social Care for Children in the Vinitsa district of Varna.
The bazaar lasted from February 23 to March 1, 2024 at the university and at three other locations in Varna - the Social Teahouse, The Center World and AMAKids Varna, where hand-made martenitsi, ornaments, bags and purses made from recycled materials by the students were sold. This not only showed the creativity of the students, but also expressed the position of Eclectika Club towards the sustainability of contemporary art materials, traditions and culture. Donation boxes were placed at all locations for visitors to support the cause.
Eclectika Club unites talented students from the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University who work in the fields of design, fashion, visual arts and literature. Some of the members were awarded the "Golden Heart" certificate for volunteering.
The selfless family of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" once again showed its empathy and support. The Student Council expressed sincere gratitude to the Academic Management of the University, the Social Teahouse, The Center World dance school, AMAKids Varna Academy and the New Art advertising agency for their support and assistance in organizing the event.
