She was awarded by the Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev.

Through her active participation in various social initiatives and programmes, she has established herself as an inspiring person who combines her academic knowledge with practical support for the local community.
The Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, awarded the most outstanding Varna volunteers for 2024. The awards are in eight non-standard categories. The honorees were elected by the representatives of the volunteer non-governmental organizations that work actively on the territory of Varna municipality. This year, the contribution of young people from other countries was also celebrated, as well as the work of volunteers over the age of 29 (which is the upper age limit for young people).

International Volunteer Day, celebrated since 1985 at the initiative of the UN, provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of volunteering for society. This year, the ceremony in Varna was organized by the representative volunteer organizations and the Youth Activities Department of the municipality.

Dunya Pavlovich's distinction is yet another proof of the value of international students at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", who, with their commitment, contribute not only to the academic community, but also to the social development of the region.

VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" is proud of the achievements of its students and continues to support initiatives that promote social engagement and cultural exchange.
