A STUDENT FROM CHINA CHOSE VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY FOR HIS MASTER’S DEGREE

The student from the Chinese city of Ningbo, Ley Si, was awarded his master's degree at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". In front of the examination committee, he presented the topic "Event Design of a Fashion Show".
"I chose Varna Free University because it is a partner of my university in Ningbo, where I was awarded my bachelor’s degree. I read about the Master’s degree program in China and liked it, and then I came to Varna", said Ley after he passed the exam. During the last two years he has worked under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kapka Manasieva - Head of the Department of Arts at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”. It is from her that he learnt the secrets of event design and event management. His teachers helped him both in studying the subjects - all in English and in his adaptation as a foreign student. The environment is extremely friendly according to Ley Si.
"After my graduation, I will continue to pursue event management or art and graphic design. After the master's program, which I graduated from Varna Free University, I think I will have more opportunities to work with big companies or establish my own company.
Master students from Bulgaria and China major in "Art and Event Management". The program is open to students from all over the world, and more and more students are interested in it. It is oriented towards young specialists with a diverse profile looking for a realization in the creative industries, commented the head of the program Assoc. Prof. Manasieva.
The 2019/2020 academic year and the major "Fashion Design" will start with new bachelor's program with profiles in "Business", "Styling" and "Modeling of Clothing". A new Master's degree program has been developed in the field of fashion - "Creative Design Practices in Fashion".
