Public lecture entitled "Opportunities for Conflict Management in the Public Sphere" was presented by the lecturer of Varna Free University Assoc. Prof. Ivanka Bankova, PhD. It considered the specific features of conflicts as an inevitable constituent of social development and the public sphere. Subjects of administrative conflict have regulated relationships and may interact with each other within the framework of rules and regulations laid down.
Schoolchildren from 5th and 6th grades at Tsar Simeon I Primary School and 3rd Angel Kanchev Elementary School presented to their parents in the hall of the Youth Centre in Varna the lessons learned in the educational project entitled Cibermagicians. During the event, we saw some interesting presentations prepared by the cybermagicians - games, animations and even a short film, which outlined the basic rules for safety and security in a digital environment. Lecturers from the Department of Informatics at Varna Free University presented to children and parents useful information for working on the Internet with common devices used by the family.

Today, Kristiyan Ivanov, a VFU fifth-year student, majoring in Architecture, unveiled the Relief Map of the Historical Core of the Seaside Garden in Varna, on which he and his team has been working for two years. The financing of the project involve Varna Free University, the Culture Fund of Varna Municipality and Kristiyan’s family.
Dance workshop on Bulgarian folklore will be held from 2 to 4 August at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". Lovers of the Bulgarian rhythms from all over the country will take part in it. For three days the dancers will master new steps and combinations under the supervision of the professors from the "Choreography" major at Varna Free University - Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov - a choreographer from the Academic Dance Theater at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Katya Kayryakova, who is also the chief artistic director of Shumen Ensemble. Part of the training will be taught by Mario Egov - director and choreographer at the famous professional folklore ensemble "Strandja". Each of the lecturers will show traditional but unpopular hora (circle dances), and the clubs will enrich their repertoire and skills.
Kristian Ivanov - a student in Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar” made a relief map of the Seaside Garden in Varna. It will be officially opened on the day of the Liberation of Varna - July 27, at 11.00.The management of Varna Free University supported Kristian's idea and co-sponsored it together with the Culture Fund of Varna Municipality.
