The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna - Vladimir Klimanov delivered a public lecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The diplomat presented the topic "Russia in the international relations" to students from the professional field "Political Sciences", lecturers and guests.
The Black Sea Security Academy held with great success a two-day Cybersecurity Framework Practitioner Training for Professionals master class. The event, which was held at Varna Free University, was attended by students from G.S. Rakovski Military Academy, from the master’s degree programmes at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar”, as well as by experts from the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the National Social Security Institute. Lecturers were Dr. Moti Zwilling, Dr. Amit Dvir, and Ahiad Alter, leading experts from Ariel Cyber Innovation Center at Ariel University.

The book has been awarded the 2019 prize by the Union of Bulgarian Journalists for research academic literature. The premiere is on 29 November this Friday at 5 pm at the Club of Architects in Varna.
On 20 November 2019, the Portugal Ambassador to Bulgaria, HE Helena Margarida Rezende de Almeida Coutinho arrived for an official working visit to Varna Free University. The Portuguese diplomat was accompanied by Ms Anaisa Gordino - Director of Camoes Sofia - Institute for Cooperation and Language. The purpose of the visit of the Portuguese delegation to the university was to conclude a protocol of cooperation between the Camoes - Institute for Cooperation and Language and Varna Free University. The document sets out the terms and conditions for cooperation between the institute and the university in order to provide training opportunities for university lecturers and students in Portuguese language and culture.
Desislava Veselinova - a fourth-year student of Fashion and Fashion Management at Varna Free University, created a dress that tells stories. In it, the young designer has intertwined in a unique way messages from social networks and fashion. The dress - a work of art, was presented at a fashion show at the TexTailor Expo in Plovdiv and immediately became a hit among the fashion circles and could become part of the vision for the next edition of the forum.
