LARRY BIEHL AND MICHAEL MARVIN DELIVER LECTURES AT VARNA FREE UNIVERSITY
10/05/2019Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomes leading American lecturers, who are also mentors of the students majoring in the master’s degree programme in Entrepreneurship. Larry Biehl, founder of the master’s degree programme, financial advisor and investment manager, and Michael Marvin, a leading entrepreneur in the IT sector and creator of Tech Valley, arrive at the university. They will present to the students the topic entitled " Management of the Investment Process" from 10 to 13 May.

A LAW STUDENT OF VFU WAS AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP
09/05/2019Pavlin Vassilev - a law student at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is one of the three students awarded a scholarship by the Community Donation Fund . The scholarship was presented to Pavlin by the President of the Varna District Court, Erna Yakova, at a special ceremony in the gallery of the Radio – TV Centre in Varna. Judge Yakova wished Pavlin to complete his studies successfully and to be useful in the profession he had chosen. The event was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Yuliana Mateeva, Head of the Department of Law at VFU, and Mrs Todorka Vlachkova, Europrogrammes specialist at Geo Milev Secondary School, who have nominated Pavlin for this award as their former and current alumnus.
VFU conducts a postgraduate qualification module combining psychological and legal knowledge
08/05/2019The Institute for Psychological Counselling and the Department of Psychology at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" conducted the first in Bulgaria training module that combines psychological and legal knowledge. In the postgraduate qualification module entitled "Psychosocial Assessment in Risk and Deviant Behaviour" participated 22 specialists, many of whom are experts in the courts in Bulgaria or work in the centres for protection against violence and for work with children. The main topics in the qualification module were related to working with victims of domestic violence and gender-based violence.
TEAMS FROM VFU WILL TAKE PART IN THE NATIONAL STUDENT GAMES
07/05/2019Teams and athletes from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will take part in the National Students Games which start todey. The university sports event of the year is organized by the Association of Academic Sports "Academic" in partnership with the six universities in Varna. It is supported by Varna Municipality and is a part of the program "Varna - European City of Sport 2019".

03/05/2019Students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will support the team of the Bulgarian Football Union during the final round of the European Football Championship for women under the age of 17 - UEFA EURO 2019 - Women U17. Bulgaria will host the tournament.
