Varna Free University welcomed today eight students from Poland and Turkey to study in the summer semester of the 2023-2024 academic year under the Erasmus+ Programme. The Bulgarian Erasmus semester has started for Elif, Wiktoria, Zuzanna, Maciej, Szymon, Patrycja, Julia and Antoni. A meeting-discussion with teachers and parents on the topic of 'Screen Addiction and Its Consequences in Children and Adolescents" was held at "Tsar Simeon I" Primary School. The lecturers were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanya Hristova, lecturer at the Department of Psychology at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Virginia Vasileva – psychologist, trainer at Karin dom. The event is related to the realization of a concept for the successful interaction between the school community and parents.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria Victor Temirbayev visited Varna Free University and was welcomed by the president of the university Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov and the academic management. During the visit, the diplomat learned about the history and results of the partnership between Varna Free University and universities in Kazakhstan. He expressed a desire to expand and deepen the contacts between VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Kazakhstan's higher educational institutions.
