HRISTO RUSEV - A GRADUATE OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR", CREATED A BOOK-ALBUM ABOUT THE WORLD FAMOUS VIOLINIST VASKO VASILEV
09/10/2020Hristo Rusev – a VFU alumnus and leading world photographer, who is in the top 100 best photographers in the CNN ranking, is the author of the new book-album about the most famous Bulgarian violinist in the world Vasko Vasilev. The book includes unique photographs from the stage, cities, backstage during tours in Spain, Great Britain, Japan and Bulgaria. It is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the virtuoso musician and will be presented on his birthday – 14 October in Sofia.

29/09/2020UNESCO Club celebrated its 30th anniversary with a concert by soloists from the Varna Opera on the open stage in the Eastern Park of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The event was also dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer of the Romantic period, Pyotr Ilyich Chaikovsky.

28/09/2020Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" opened the academic year 2020/2021, which will mark the 30th anniversary of its foundation. Special guest of the ceremony was the Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev. The event was attended by the mayors of Varna, Smolyan and Rudozem - Ivan Portnih, Nikolay Melemov and Rumen Pehlivanov, the regional governor of region with administrative centre Varna Stoyan Pasev, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna Vladimir Klimanov, the Chairperson of the Council of Rectors and Rector of Sofia University "St Kliment Ohridski" - Prof. Anastas Gerdzhikov, D.Sc., the rectors of Varna universities, head teachers of secondary schools, representatives of the judiciary, social partners and employers related to the university.
PART-TIME FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS JOINED THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"
26/09/2020Today, part-time first-year students crossed the threshold of Varna Free University. They met with the deans of the faculties, the academic staff and their tutors. The students toured the Institute of Technology, the library, the Russian Centre, the Erasmus Office, the Career Centre and, of course, the beautiful park. The first-year students also received their student books.

THE SECOND-YEAR STUDENT YULIA TSONZAROVA BECAME WINNER IN A COMPETITION OF RÖFIX BULGARIA
21/09/2020Yulia Tsonzarova, a second-year student majoring in Architecture at Varna Free University, won the RÖFIX Bulgaria competition with her project for a single-family out-of-town residential ecological building with integrated products and systems of the company. Her award was presented personally by Daniel Trankov - Commercial Director of RÖFIX Bulgaria.
