THE AUTUMN SESSION OF THE GRADUANDS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES SUCCESSFULLY PASSED
30/10/2020At the beginning of the week in the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures at the Faculty of Architecture of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" were held the defences of theses of students in the bachelor's degree specialties "Construction of Buildings and Structures" and "Fire Safety and Population Protection" and in the master's degree programmes "Building Structures", "Civil Engineering", "Water Supply and Sewerage" and "Fire and Emergency Safety of Buildings and Facilities". 15 bachelors and 21 masters successfully defended their theses and deservedly received the degrees of civil engineering and fire safety engineering. With the proposed design solutions of building structures, water supply, sewerage and fire protection systems, the graduands demonstrated an engineering approach in thinking and implementing their ideas, knowledge and skills to solve specific practical problems in accordance with current regulations.

28/10/2020Dear students, We would like to inform you that on the grounds of Order RD-01-626 / 27 Oct 2020 of the Minister of Health, issued in connection with the introduction of temporary anti-epidemic measures on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, with his Order № 60 / 28 Oct 2020, the President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" orders, as of 29 October 2020 to 12 November 2020, to suspend the classroom learning at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar"; classes and exams to be conducted entirely in electronic environment. The same order cancels all mass events at the University.
STUDENTS STUDY HISTORY OF BULGARIAN ARCHITECTURE IN THE FIELD
27/10/2020The fourth-year students of Architecture, conducted 30 hours of field lectures in History of Bulgarian Architecture. During the classes they visited the largest historical sites in Varna, Devnya, Provadia, Shumen and Razgrad.
ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WILL DEVELOP A PROJECT FOR AN INDUSTRIAL ZONE AND PRODUCTION BUILDINGS IN DEVNYA
22/10/2020Students majoring in Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" were given assignments to develop projects for development plans in the new industrial territory of Devnya, as well as production buildings in it. This happened during the "field lectures" in the course of Industrial Buildings and Complexes, which were held in the Municipality of Devnya. The future architects met with Mayor Svilen Shitov and Chief Architect Simeon Georgiev. The students got acquainted with the plans for the establishment of an industrial zone near the city.
LECTURERS AND STUDENTS FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WORK ON A COMMUNICATION STRATEGY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL TOURISM IN SOUTHEAST BULGARIA
21/10/2020Cultural tourism management in the municipality of Kazanlak was discussed by students and lecturers in the master's degree programmes in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management and Cultural Tourism Management at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The programmes are led by Assoc. Prof.Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD. Specialists from the municipal administration and experts from the regional museum and art gallery in the town also took part in the discussion.
