SILVER MEDAL FOR VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IN THE SWIMMING COMPETITION
18/04/2021A silver medal won Blagovest Todorov - a first-year student in National Security at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", in the swimming competition at the XXI Varna Student Universiade, which took place today at the Primorski swimming pool. He won the second place in the 50 m backstroke and the sixth one in the 50 m freestyle.

17/04/2021The team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was ranked third in the athletics cross championship of the XXI Varna Student Universiade - 2021, held in the Seaside Garden. This year the discipline for men was 2,000 m sprint. The student Chanel Mehmed won fifth place in the individual ranking in the women's 1,000 m sprint, said the team leader Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev.

16/04/2021The defence of the diploma projects of the students from the class of 2021 of Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" ended with three full marks. The State Examination Committee, chaired by Corr. Mem. Prof. Arch. Atanas Kovachev, D.Sc - Head of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the University, awarded the highest marks to the projects of Desislava Dimitrova, Chavdar Bakardzhiev and Denislav Angelov.

12/04/2021Within the framework of the training programme in the discipline Theory of Proof, led by Prof. Yonko Kunchev, D.Sc. - Dean of the Faculty of Law, the first-year students of Varna Free University were given the task to develop and prove their thesis on several proposed topics. One of them was "Why did I choose to study at VFU" Chernorizets Hrabar ". We received dozens of interesting student opinions also on the other topics: "Why did I choose to stay in Bulgaria", "Quality education is important for the Bulgarian economy", "Motivation for success", as well as a comparison between two countries. Today, we present the essay of Simeon Yachkov - a student of Law, Faculty of Law.

09/04/2021For the first time at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", students from the The State Academic University for the Humanities (GAUGN) - Moscow, Russia do a training course. In 2019, a cooperation and joint activity agreement was signed between the two universities. GAUGN at the Russian Academy of Sciences combines the traditions of Russian science with the modern requirements for achieving high results in higher education. The teaching staff includes world-renowned scholars - academics and corresponding members.
