The deadline to apply for participation in student study mobility for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 is November 5. Information about the application procedures and mobility opportunities can be found on the website of the programme: erasmus.vfu.bg, in the section "Student study mobility". According to the rules of the Erasmus + Programme, students who want to apply for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022 must have completed their 1st year of training, paid all fees and passed all exams.

Alexander Degtyarev and Tatyana Marozova - experts from the National University of Science and Technology (MISIS) from Moscow, the Russian Federation, were on training mobility at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" last week. They toured the university and got acquainted with the work of the Front Office and its departments at Varna Free University. Alexander Degtyarev is the head of an identical unit in MISIS.
For а third year in a row, VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will hold free courses in Japanese and Portuguese for students, teachers and staff. The training is in accordance with the study schedule and the working hours of the university and will be on-line.
Analyza Gordino, the Director of the Portuguese Cultural Institute Camois at the Portuguese embassy, visited Varna Free University at the end of the previous week. She was accompanied by Rumyana Staneva, a Portuguese language teacher and doctoral student at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". For three years, students, faculty and staff at the university have had the opportunity to study Portuguese and immerse themselves in the culture of the most western country in Europe.
A cooperation agreement between VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the University "Sakaria" in Turkey was signed by their rectors - Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov and Prof. Dr. Fatih Savashan. This happened during Prof. Hristov's working visit to our southern neighbor country.
Andrey Gavrilenko is a two-time scholarship holder of the President of the Russian Federation and a PhD student of Varna Free University. The graduate of Vladimir State University "Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs" chose for the second time VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" where he studies and prepares in the field of construction of buildings and facilities. Here he studied Bulgarian, completed his Master's degree in 2018 and even met his wife.
