Pollina Galinova, a third-year student majoring in Psychology at VFU Chernorizets Hrabar, won the gold medal at the State Low Kick Kickboxing Championship, which took place over the weekend in Varna. Pollina came first among the women in the style "low kick" in the category to 56 kilograms.

Because of the 30th anniversary of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Board of Trustees decided to support the development of the innovative educational project "Circular Economy" by providing 30 scholarships for students in the master's degree programme "Circular Economy" for the 2021/2022 academic year. The initiative was supported at the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria during its XXXIV General Assembly.
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" started its 31st academic year with a festive ceremony in the presence of first-year students, foreign students and guests, with lots of smiles, good mood and flowers. This year the university celebrates 30 years since its establishment under the motto "Learn and seek", words of the brave Bulgarian clergyman Chernorizets Hrabar.
The town of Viborg hosted an International School of History, which was attended by 150 young people - foreign and Russian university and doctoral students from nearly 50 countries. The event was organized by the Russian Historical Society, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the State Academic University of Humanities.
Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", received a plaque, membership card and personal honorary badge as an honorary member of the Forensic Science Club. The honorary badges were presented by Alex Marinov - Chairperson of the Club at a meeting held with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Rector - Prof. Petar Hristov, PhD and Prof. Yonko Kunchev, D.Sc. - Dean of the Faculty of Law. Issues about the activities of the Club were discussed, as well as future projects related to VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The opening ceremony of the academic year 2021/2022 will be held on 27 September 2021 (Monday), at 10.00 am in the East Park of the university. This year, Varna Free University celebrates 30 years since its establishment.
