07/12/2021For the first time, private and state universities are develping joint master's degree programmes, and students will be awarded a joint diploma from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", The Technical University - Varna and "Paisii Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv. This was announced at the opening press conference of the project "Innovative model for modernization of higher education through the creation of an academic ecosystem VFU" Chernorizets Hrabar "- Technical University - Varna - "Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv. The beneficiary of the project is VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

06/12/2021The rectors of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the Technical University - Varna and "Paisii Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv will launch a project to develop an innovative academic ecosystem in the three universities. The event will be held in a hybrid form on December 7, 2021 at 10 am in the Academic and Sports Complex of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" SUPPORTED THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH 22 ENGINEERS
30/11/2021The Construction of Buildings and Facilities Department at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Faculty of Architecture conducted thesis defense in the educational qualification degree "Master" in the specialties "Building Structures", "Road Construction", "Water Supply and Drainage Systems and Installations" "Civil Engineering" and "Fire and Emergency Safety of Buildings and Facilities". 22 masters, who showed a high level of theoretical and practical training, successfully defended their theses. In their diploma projects, the students presented design solutions for building structures, water supply, sewerage, fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems meant for real buildings and facilities.

26/11/2021The interdisciplinary master's degree programme "Circular Economics" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed its second class from this pilot for Bulgaria and the European Union programme. 25 students will study with scholarships provided by the University Board of trustees. The new academic year in the master's degree programme was opened by Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and George Kremlis - Honorary Director of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission, under whose patronage the master's degree programme is.
MAJOR DOCTORAL PROGRAMME OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" AWARDED THE HIGHEST GRADE BY THE PROGRAMME ACCREDITATION
25/11/2021The doctoral programme "Organization and Management Outside the Field of Material Production" in the professional field "Administration and Management" at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" got a score of 9.35 (on a ten-point scale) from the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation. The evaluation strengthened the leading position of the doctoral programme at the university.

24/11/2021The Honorary Director of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission George Kremlis and Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will open the new academic year for students in the master's degree programme "Circular Economics" at Varna Free University. The event will take place on November 26, 2021 (Friday) at 1.30 pm both at the university and online.
GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS FOR THE SWIMMERS FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IN THE "DECEMBER 8 CUP" TOURNAMENT
22/11/2021The sports team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" performed excellently in the swimming tournament "December 8 Cup", which was held over the weekend at the indoor pool "Dr. Lyuben Lazarov" in The Primorski swimming complex. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev, our boys and girls won gold and silver medals in the individual ranking.
