23/04/2021On the eve of the World DNA Day, the leading universities in the seaside capital - Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov ”, together with the Mathematical Secondary School and the software company Quanterall, united by the research group BioMed-Varna, organise an online forum for presenting and involving people of different ages and interests in science. The event "DNA Day 2021" will be held virtually on 24 April at 11.00 to 17.00 and will be broadcast live on the social network Facebook. THE CRIMINOLOGY CLUB ALREADY WITH A STATUTE AND A SITE
22/04/2021The newly established "Criminology Club" at Varna Free University adopted yesterday the Statute of the organization. The club has already a Board of Directors - it is chaired by Alex Marinov - a student majoring in Crime Prevention and Public Order Protection at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", and its members are eight representatives of different universities with different professional and personal profile. They are the link between the academic and professional community.
LEADING SPECIALISTS FROM ISRAEL WILL DO A CYBER SECURITY MASTER CLASS
22/04/2021A two-day master class "Cybersecurity Framework Practitioner Training for Professionals" will be held by the Black Sea Security Academy at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" on April 24 and 25. It will be attended by students from the Master's degree programme "Cybersecurity" at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", graduates from the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski” and experts from state institutions. The lecturer of the second part of the course, which will be held online, will be Dr. Moti Zwilling from Israel.

22/04/2021On the Earth Day – 22 April, many students repersesnting Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", the University of Economics, Technical University and "N.Y.Vaptsarov" Naval Academy, as well as secondary school students at the 4th Language School "Frederic Joliot-Curie", under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Vanya Bankova, PhD - a lecturer at Varna Free University, cleaned the public areas adjacent to the monument of Bulgarian-Soviet friendship.

21/04/2021The University Library of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" offers trial access to IG Library - a multidisciplinary platform with e-books from various world publishers. The electronic library has free access from today – 21 April to 21 May 2021 for students and faculty of the university.

SILVER MEDAL FOR VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IN THE SWIMMING COMPETITION
18/04/2021A silver medal won Blagovest Todorov - a first-year student in National Security at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", in the swimming competition at the XXI Varna Student Universiade, which took place today at the Primorski swimming pool. He won the second place in the 50 m backstroke and the sixth one in the 50 m freestyle.

17/04/2021The team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was ranked third in the athletics cross championship of the XXI Varna Student Universiade - 2021, held in the Seaside Garden. This year the discipline for men was 2,000 m sprint. The student Chanel Mehmed won fifth place in the individual ranking in the women's 1,000 m sprint, said the team leader Assoc. Prof. Ognyan Kachev.
