10/12/2021The Faculty of Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was a co-organizer of an international conference on criminology, which was held at the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in Ukraine. The authoritative scientific forum is in memory of the Austrian professor Hans Gross - one of the founders of forensic science, lecturer and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Chernivtsi. His book, Criminal Investigations, a Practical Textbook, published in the late 19th century, laid the scientific foundations of forensics.

07/12/2021For the first time, private and state universities are develping joint master's degree programmes, and students will be awarded a joint diploma from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", The Technical University - Varna and "Paisii Hilendarski" University of Plovdiv. 30/11/2021The Construction of Buildings and Facilities Department at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Faculty of Architecture conducted thesis defense in the educational qualification degree "Master" in the specialties "Building Structures", "Road Construction", "Water Supply and Drainage Systems and Installations" "Civil Engineering" and "Fire and Emergency Safety of Buildings and Facilities". 22 masters, who showed a high level of theoretical and practical training, successfully defended their theses. In their diploma projects, the students presented design solutions for building structures, water supply, sewerage, fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems meant for real buildings and facilities.

26/11/2021The interdisciplinary master's degree programme "Circular Economics" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed its second class from this pilot for Bulgaria and the European Union programme. 25 students will study with scholarships provided by the University Board of trustees. The new academic year in the master's degree programme was opened by Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova - Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and George Kremlis - Honorary Director of the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission, under whose patronage the master's degree programme is.
