The Faculty of International Economics and Administration at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" invites you to take part in an opening conference and workshop within the project "Knowing Circular Economy in Black Sea Basin BSB-CIRCLECON - BSB 1021" under a joint operational programme for cross-border cooperation under the European Neighborhood Instrument "Black Sea Basin 2014-2020".
The first official working meeting between representatives of Google and Bulgarian universities took place last week. The event was organized by the Center for Creative Learning - the only partner of Google Cloud specializing in Education in Bulgaria. The meeting was attended by 77 representatives from 25 universities across the country. The aim was for the Google Workspace team to present the opportunities for cooperation with Bulgarian higher education and show good practices from organizations that have already implemented Google technologies.
Senior Commissar Atanas Mihov, the Director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior (RDMI) - Varna sent a Thank-you Letter to the Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov and to the Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. D.Sc. Yonko Kunchev, thanking them for the invaluable help of the students from the Criminology Club, who are also part of the Corps of Witnesses for the State Authorities. In February this year, the director of the RDMI received a list of 40 students from Varna Free University who help the police on a daily basis in the pre-trial proceedings of investigations.
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed 50 school students from Italy, Spain, Poland and Bulgaria. The guests are in Varna at the invitation of Geo Milev Secondary School Varna - a partner of the university. The international group is working on the project "ACTIVE - Active, Critical Thinking, Integrated, Volunteering, Engaged", under the Erasmus + programme.
Over 50 students from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and The University of Food Technology (UFT) Plovdiv participated in the competition For Sustainable Green Future, organized by the Sofia Development Association within the INNOAIR project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Innovative Urban Development Activities.
Tansu Osman is a fifth-year student majoring in Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". This is her third academic education, after a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Tax Law at the renowned University of Cologne and a master's degree in Strategic Management and Business Consulting at the International Business School. She chose VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" to upgrade her knowledge in the field of law.

From 9th to 13th May the Faculty of Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" will hold online consultations for the oral exam in criminal law for candidates to become junior magistrates and lawyers. The lectures will be delivered by Prof. D.Sc. Yonko Kunchev - Dean of the Faculty, Viktor Tarchev - Prosecutor at the European Prosecutor's Office, Janina Nacheva - Judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juliana Mateeva - Lecturer in Criminal Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Aneta Dimitrova and Desislava Georgieva - third-year students majoring in Architecture at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" are in the TOP 3 at the national stage of the XVII International Architectural Student Competition, organized by Saint-Gobain. The students defended the SimplyCity project in front of a expert jury of prominent university professors, architects and company representatives.
