25 YEARS STUDENT COUNCIL OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"
19/06/2022The Student Council of Varna Free University celebrated 25 years since its establishment with an emotional celebration, at which special guests were chairmen and members of the Student Council from 1996 until today, the academic management of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Assoc. Prof. Eng. Lilyana Valcheva, PhD - Chairperson of the National Trade Union "Higher Education and Science" at the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria, Dr. Daniel Parushev - Chairman of the National Representation of Student Councils, Chairmen and members of student councils of universities in the country, students, professors and employees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar.
AT A SOLEMN CEREMONY WE WISHED SUCCESS TO THE 26TH CLASS OF GRADUATES IN THE HISTORY OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"
18/06/2022530 students who graduated in the autumn session of 2021 were awarded diplomas of higher education at solemn ceremonies in Varna and Smolyan. The students majored in 58 specialties at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" - at the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Law, Faculty of International Economics and Administration and the Smolyan Branch. Class of 2021 is the 26th in the history of the university, and in the spring and autumn sessions a total of over 1,000 students graduated from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Smolyan Branch of the University. 514 of them are bachelors and 490 have completed master's degree programmes.
PETAR PAVLOV WITH AWARD FOR OVERALL CONTRIBUTION FOR A BETTER LIFE IN BULGARIA
16/06/2022Our colleague Petar Pavlov - cameraman at the Media Centre at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was awarded the jubilee award of the National Alliance for Social Responsibility and the Agency for Social Development "Vision" for overall contribution to a better life in Bulgaria. This took place at a solemn ceremony, and the award was presented by Maya Doneva - Secretary General of EASPD - the European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities.

15/06/2022The academic leadership of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will present diplomas of higher education to the graduates of Class '2021 in solemn ceremonies which will be held on 17 June 2022 in the East Park of the University in Varna and a day later in the Smolyan Branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".

MASTER'S STUDENTS CONDUCTED AN INTERNSHIP IN SVISHTOV
14/06/2022The internship of the master's students in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management and Management of Cultural Tourism of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was held in Svishtov over the weekend. The students, led by Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD - Head of the master's programmes, listened with interest to the lectures of Prof. Evgeniy Sachev, D.Sc. and Assoc. Prof. Rumen Draganov, PhD for managing the communication strategies of the cultural heritage, the legal and normative regulations in advertising, PR and tourism, as well as the issues related to the socialization of the tourist attractions.

14/06/2022VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the College of Environment and Design of the University of Georgia - the oldest public university in the United States, established in 1785.
INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CONFERENCE ON PROGRAMMES FOR CLIMATE AND WORLD ECONOMY
13/06/2022The international online conference on PROGRAMMES FOR CLIMATE AND WORLD ECONOMY will take place on 17 and 18 June 2022 at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The scientific forum is organised by the Department of Economics at the Faculty of International Economics and Administration. The discussion provides an opportunity for young scientists, students and PhD students, whose research interests seek solutions to global climate problems and develop approaches to sustainable economic development.
MASTER'S DEGREE STUDENTS IN CIRCULAR ECONOMIY VISITED THE SOLID WASTE PROCESSING PLANT
08/06/2022Master's degree students in Circular Economy at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" visited the plant for processing of solid waste "Ecoinvest Assets" near the village of Ezerovo. They got acquainted on the spot with the waste processing. The director Emil Dichev told about the work of the plant.
