12/05/2024Elitsa Krumova – a graduate in Informatics and Computer Science at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", has been appointed as a senator from Bulgaria at the World Business Angels Investment Forum. She will represent our country in the Grand Assembly of the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), part of the G20.

NICE PLACES IN VARNA - EXHIBITION OF STUDENTS FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IN ART GALLERY 12 OF THE REGIONAL ADMINISTRATION
10/05/2024"Nice Places in Varna" is an exhibition of students majoring in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", which will be opened in Gallery 12 of the Regional Administration - Varna (26 "Preslav" Street), on Monday – 13 May 2024, at 5.00 p.m. In the exhibition, we will see over 40 drawings by 15 students - young authors who recreate the urban environment, as a cultural centre and habitable place - seen, felt and recreated through their eyes.

10/05/2024Second and third-year students, majoring in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" met the famous Bulgarian poster artist Lyuba Tomova. The event was held within the framework of an educational and cultural initiative that aims to enrich the learning process and provide students with the opportunity to get acquainted with the works and experience of recognised contemporary masters in the field of visual art and design.

09/05/2024Cor. Mem. Prof. Arch. Atanas Kovachev, D.Sc. - Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at Varna Free University was conferred on the title of Honorary Professor of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". The award was presented to him by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Varna Free University, Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. by decision of the Academic Council, for a significant contribution to the development of the university, for popularising and strengthening its image and in connection with his 70th anniversary.

STUDENTS FROM ROMANIA AND BULGARIA PROPOSED A NEW LOOK FOR THE AIRPORT IN BALCHIK
08/05/2024International teams of Bulgarian and Romanian students of architecture, urban planning and landscape design created five concepts for the reactivation of the joint-use airport in Balchik. The competition was held in four stages. The assessment of the projects is three-component - from an architectural point of view, a landscape solution and an architectural solution. The presentation of each team is also assessed.

24/04/2024The Chair of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) Prof. Dr. Eliza Stefanova visited Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". During the visit, Prof. Stefanova got acquainted with the history and prospects in the development of one of the largest private universities in the country. "It is necessary to look for solutions point by point and to work together," commented Prof. Stefanova. She shared the importance of discussing good practices for improving the quality of higher education in Bulgaria.
