Thanks to the Cyber Protectors programme, cyberbullying against children in Bulgaria has decreased by almost 20,000 cases in one year. This was shown by the latest research of the Black Sea Security Academy at Varna Free University and the State Agency for Child Protection. The Cyber Protectors programme was created to raise awareness among the general public and serve as a source of information in the field of prevention of cyberbullying of children online. It aims at reducing the cases of children’s injury in the cyberspace by recommendations developed by leading Israeli specialists.
obtain a professional qualification in the field of dentistry. The training is carried out in partnership with the Medical-Dental Centre "Swiss Dentaprime" Ltd - Varna. The disciplines that include general professional training will be taught by university professors, and leading dental practitioners will teach the disciplines in specific training. The training is in accordance with Ordinance No. 25 of November 7, 2018 for the acquisition of a qualification in the profession of "Dental Assistant".
Representatives from the American University in Blagoevgrad and the University of Economics - Varna are also preparing together with the students from Varna Free University. They will "step into the shoes" of EU decision-makers - they will gain a better understanding of the role of Member States in the EU decision-making process, learn more about the work of the EU institutions, in particular the Council, they will develop a sense of belonging to a European project, they will acquire teamwork and negotiation skills, they will gain insight into future professional opportunities and ideas for a future career in public administration, the organizers of the event say.

Yoanna Hristova – a second-year student majoring in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" has her first solo exhibition named Thirst/Jajda" on December 15, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The exhibition is arranged in Amorpha Academy at 10 Dragan Tsankov Street in Varna. It includes drawings and paintings, book illustrations, some term assignments, pages from Yoanna's personal sketchbook. The exhibition reflects moments from her professional experience in recent years, as well as some very personal projects, full of emotion, which gather together memories, dreams and steps on the way to her spiritual growth.
