Yoanna Hristova - a second-year student in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is in the top three of the translation competition "Transformations", organized by the Faculty of Modern Languages at VTU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". The competition is held with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Prof. Dr. Olga Borisova - head of the Legal Sciences Department at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was awarded an honorary citizenship of the Municipality of Kozloduy. This happened at an official meeting of the Municipal Council, which was held on the city's holiday a day ago. The youngest law professor in Bulgaria was born in the town by the river Danube.
The celebrations in the Municipality of Rudozem on the occasion of 24 May - the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of The Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and of Slavic Literature, united over 300 figures of education, science and culture from the region - educators and makers of the Bulgarian spirit, history and spirituality.

Sports festival was held today at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". It was organised by the Faculty of Law at Varna Free University on the occasion of the Bulgarian Sports Day – 17 May and on the eve of 24 May.

Prof. Krasimir Nedyalkov, PhD - President of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Rector - Prof. Petar Hristov, PhD were interviewed by a team of the BGNES Information Agency. About the university, students’ professional perspectives, partnerships with higher education institutions in the European Union, the state of Bulgarian education and the challenges ahead.
A team of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" participated in the 10th Competition in solving civil and commercial law case studies, organised by the Centre for Legal Sciences at Burgas Free University. The team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was well represented by the students of the Faculty of Law: Mila Petrova (4th year, Law) - captain of the team, Slavena Georgieva (4th year, Law), Gergana Atanasova (3rd year, Law) and Zhanina Gicheva (3rd year, Law). The preparation of the students for the competition was led by the judges of Varna District Court, Diana Miteva and Neiko Dimitrov, as well as by Chief Assist. Prof. Maria P. Petrova, lecturer at Varna Free University and lawyer at the Varna Bar Association, member of the competition jury.
