Today, students from all courses and majors at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" participated together in the game "Hey, Don't Get Angry, Student!", which they invented and developed themselves. The competition created an amazing atmosphere in the East Park of the university, provoked fun and laughter, and the giant playing field of 7 x 7 meters became the playground for exciting clashes and strategic decisions. The organizer of the student version of the popular children's board game "Hey, Don't Get Angry, man" is the Student Council of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Today is the first day of the 2023/24 academic year. Thank you for this honor and the opportunity to once again welcome everyone present as members of our distinguished academic family. I am saying this with the deep conviction that today is a special day because VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", as one of the first private higher education institutions in our country, opens its doors for the 32nd time to welcome its students, lecturers, partners and spiritual companions. Thanks to our joint efforts, today the university is a different, dynamically developing, academically connected in national and international scientific networks and, last but not least, an attractive educational center for students from a number of countries around the world.
The new academic year 2023 - 2024 was opened today by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov - president of Varna Free University. The student anthem was also played in the heart of the Rhodopes - at the University Branch in Smolyan, where an official ceremony was also held.
The opening ceremony of the academic year 2023/2024 will be held on October 2, 2023 (Monday), at 10:00 a.m. in the East Park of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Astrophotography exhibition Trough the Secrets of the Cosmos was presented by Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" in the Art Salon of Varna Radio. The exposition can be viewed until October 13, every weekday from 2 to 6 p.m. The photographs are the work of Tikhomir Todorov and Nikola Antonov - astrophotographers who photographed and studied giant nebulae, distant galaxies and star clusters, hidden from the human eye, but contributing to an understanding of the processes in the universe. Special guests at the opening were the rector ofVFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. Dr. Petar Hristov, Elena Kenarova - head of the Education Department in the Municipality of Varna, Svezhina Dimitrova - director of the Astronomical observatory "Nicolaus Copernicus" Varna, Natalia Cheshmedjieva - director of Varna Radio, many school and university students and admirers of space stories.
The management of the Faculty of Law at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" met with the newly appointed employees of the Ministry of Interior, who are being trained at the Center for Specialization and Professional Training in Varna. The center is a structural unit of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior, specialized in the training of police officers of the junior executive level.
Today, September 26, marks the European Day of Languages, announced by the Council of Europe with the support of the European Union in December 2001. This celebration aims to promote the study of foreign languages in Europe and promote cultural exchange between different nations and cultures.
