Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" hosted the International Scientific Conference "Economic Transformations in the Global World", which brought together nearly 50 participants from different countries and universities. The event, organised by the Faculty of Social, Economic and Computer Sciences, took place in the University's Educational and Sports Complex.
The jury awarded the first place to Trayana Yordanova and Maya Dimitrova. Their project divides the property into two parts - with residential and public function. The urban planning solution elegantly breaks the residential space by enveloping the natural environment, creating not only the best possible orientation of the housing units, but also the possibility of a sea view of each apartment with secluded parts.
Yoanna Hristova - a third-year student majoring in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" won first place in the international translation competition "Transformations", organized by the Faculty of Modern Languages at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo.
Kiko is 27 years old and comes from Nagasaki, Japan. She has been training students, lecturers and university staff for six months now. She is soon leaving for Poland, where she will continue with her teaching activities but before that she will explore Europe.
The vice-rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Tankova thanked for the fruitful partnership with the management of Geo Milev Secondary School. She expressed her willingness for VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" to provide academic support to the first National Center for Positive Education in Varna.
Exhibitions, presenting course works of students majoring in Interior Design and Graphic Design at Varna Free University were opened in the Arts department of 'Pencho Slaveykov' Public Library - Varna and in the Academic and Sports Complex at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar".
The Department of Foreign Language Education and Postgraduate Qualification at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" organized a field trip under the name "The Old Capitals of Bulgaria" for the foreign students from the preparatory course for language and specialized training.
The event will gather nearly 50 participants from different countries and universities, who will present their papers in three areas.
Nearly 280 bachelors and 250 masters from the class of 2023 received their diplomas today.
