The participants in the programming competition were invited to a special lecture on graphs and received a personal invitation to join an international biomedical imaging research camp at Varna Free University in June.
In honour of the Diplomat Day – 10 February, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" paid tribute and laid flowers at the monument of Count Nikolay Ignatiev - a world famous diplomat who was declared a knight on the Balkans, who signed the freedom of Bulgaria in San Stefano.

Complementing the array of languages performs the strategic task of the university for the internationalization of education.
Two world-renowned security experts - Ariel Cohen and Vladimir Bronfenbrenner visited Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" at the invitation of the President of the University Assoc. Prof. Krassimir Nedyalkov, PhD. Ariel Cohen is among the top 10 experts in the world in cybersecurity and intelligence security systems, and Vladimir Bronfenbrenner is a prominent Balkan expert and adviser to ministries and government structures in the fields of justice, economy and international relations.
The Russian Centre of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" celebrates today its 10th anniversary. The first Balkan Centre for studying and promoting the Russian language and culture was created in 2009 with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation. The work of the Foundation with VFU is a sign of recognition of the high rating and prestige of the university in Bulgaria and Europe.
