The Director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Varna - Chief Commissioner Daniel Pashov, awarded today students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and thanked them for the effective information campaign to limit phone frauds aimed at the elderly people. During the recent weeks, students from Varna Free University have visited 20 retirement clubs in the city and talked with over 2,500 elderly people to explain how to protect themselves from phone con men. The campaign was carried out together with the Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior and the regional city council in the sea capital.
The internship focuses on topics that are applicable in the real business environment. Students will work on a specific task - site optimization, using real world hosting. The training is realized within the framework of the 411 Academy - an educational project oriented towards training of students in the field of digital marketing, SEO and web development.
Students from the Master's degree programs "Tax and Customs Control" and "Circular Economy" from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" did a practical work experience last week to become acquainted with the work of the customs and tax administration. They acquired key competences and used the acquired knowledge and skills "on-site".
3D-printer, virtual reality glasses, psycho-diagnostics training software, modern building equipment, and educational tools in forensic education are just some of the demonstrations that Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will show at the Candidate Student Exchange 2019 in Razgrad. "Cyber Knights" will be trained not only in the field of information technology and law but they will be physically strong, mentally resilient, highly motivated and stong-willed.
Innovative Master's programs in Cyber Security are launched at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The presentation of the programs resulting in training the first cyber warriors, as they are already called at the university, will be this Saturday - March 16. That is when the establishment of the Black Sea Security Agency will be announced, said the Rector Prof. Petar Hristov for Radio Varna.
