The young Varna architect Jacqueline Angelova designed an electric vehicles plant with a training and research center for new technologies. With that project, she won first place in a competition of the Scientific and Technical Unions in Varna for 2023. This is her diploma work at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".

The team of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" won the first national student competition in administrative and legal sciences. The winners received a cash prize and, more importantly, an internship at the Supreme Administrative Court. They competed in the role of the appellant against the Southwestern University team "Neofit Rilski". The captain of the team was Slavena Georgieva, and Kremena Kostadinova, Maria Bozhinova, Gulfidan Eminova and Tsvetelina Stoyanova were also part of the team.

A joint folklore expedition of students majoring in Choreography at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and Southwest University "Neofit Rilski", Blagoevgrad, will take place from January 18 to 22, 2024. The students will embark on a magical journey "On Babinden" and will feel the atmosphere of the living tradition carried over in time. In their meetings with folk culture bearers in Bansko, Bachevo, Breznica and Razlog, they will apply their knowledge and experience the emotions of a field study.
