Varna Free University provides an opportunity for specialized training on the NIS2 Directive (Network and Information Security) - the latest European regulation in the field of cybersecurity. The course will be taught by Kremen Hristov - a key expert with 17 years of experience in the field of information security, IT service management and auditing according to international standards. The training will be held online on 26th March, 2025 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Due to the difficult weather conditions and the difficult access to the campus of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", classes on February 19th and 20th (Wednesday and Thursday) will be online.
Three lecturers from the Department of Arts at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" are taking part in the fifth edition of the prestigious International Academic Exhibition, organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts at Maltepe University, Istanbul. The online exhibition includes works by Prof. Valeri Chakalov - lecturer in composition in visual arts and illustration, Assoc. Prof. Viktor Petkov - lecturer in graphic design and Ani Dimitrova - lecturer in fond. They are also the only Bulgarians included in the exhibition.
Students and members of the Student Council at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” participated in an event to pay their respects to Vasil Levski in order to mark the 152nd anniversary of his death. On behalf of the academic community of the university, they put a wreath in front of the monument of the Apostle in the Sea Garden.
The authors Simeon Kulish and Trayan Dimitrov presented key moments from the fate of Varna during the First World War - or the Great War, as its contemporaries called it, without suspecting that the world would be faced with another global conflict.
Before the start of the lecture, a short ceremony will be held to exchange the signed copies of the contract, which will formalize the cooperation between Varna Free University and the Administrative Court – Varna.
The successful implementation of the project makes it possible to meet the growing needs of society for strengthening financial literacy and cooperation between educational institutions of the countries.

The freshman Nikola Vassilev, majoring in Interior Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", created an interesting model for the exam in the discipline History of Art, taught by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diana Sotirova, inspired by the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and the grandeur of Gothic architecture.
