Students of Varna Free University train elderly people in digital skills and cyber security
28/11/2018Twelve retirees from the club at Kaisieva Gradina joined the pilot group on digital skills and cyber security training. Their guides in the digital world are two students from the professional area of Informatics and Computer Science at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". They train elderly people not only in acquiring basic digital skills but also in the basic safety rules on the Internet. Among the important things that the elderly people will learn are how to protect themselves from online scammers, how to connect with children and grandchildren abroad, without fear of new technologies, what is spam and how not to become victims of false advertising.
