On 28 January 2012, a project entitled "Elderly People’s Centre in Mladost District of Varna", directed by Prof. Massoud Esmailu, PhD, Arch. and developed by students from the Speciality of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University, who took part in the 2011 Workshop in Sustainable Architecture, was presented in the Town of Bolzano, Italy. The project was introduced during the KLIMAHOUSE International Trade Fair for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Construction.

"We have inherited the land from our fathers but have borrowed it from our children. Therefore, we need to reevaluate our priorities and everyday choices and allow the importance of environmental protection to come to the fore. This task is feasible through achieving nature-friendly design and innovative residential models", Prof. Massoud Esmailu, PhD, Arch., said in an interview for TVWEBTEKNECO.
